This is the PechaKucha-style presentation I gave towards the end of GEM 305, synthesizing what I’ve learned during the GEM journey. When I came into Wesleyan, I was already interested in language-learning, literature, and social sciences, but didn’t fully know how to put them all together; while working on this presentation, I realized how the experiences I’ve had in GEM and at Wesleyan have brought all of these interests together in a way that also deepens each one individually. I’m happy to have had this opportunity to reflect on what I’ve learned and share it with my GEM cohort— and to have done so while finally speaking at a reasonable pace!
